Birth of Litter Bug Kits

I was at a parade one day when a float had gone by throwing candy out for the kids. A little boy had wandered into my vendor booth to check out my ear wings. Of course he was munching on candy.

Some other kids walked by and threw their wrappers on the ground. As I picked up their garbage, I muttered "Litter Bugs" then smiled at the boy who was stuffing his wrappers into his already full pockets. His eyes lit up and he asked me if I had "litter bugs" (glancing back at my display of ear wings).

We immediately started talking, shooting ideas at each other, giggling about the grossness of accessories made of garbage. We agreed that I HAD to make some. He 'donated' his candy wrappers and went to collect more. I continued to collect and save any bright colored "festival garbage" for the rest of the season. I was delighted to make something so cute out of it.

These are only meant to be statement art, but if you must have them, send me a message and we can work a deal. They are priced at $1000.00 because that is the citation cost for littering in the state of Washington where I collected the candy wrappers and such.

These ear wings are one of a kind, there will never be another pair just like them and just like you, unique and one of a kind.
